Good morning, Midland.

A winter storm forced several businesses to close in Midland on Friday, affecting local operations.

The Museum of the Southwest offers families a DIY obstacle course project using household items as winter weather keeps it closed today.

The activity encourages creative play (build obstacles, ramps and a creature to navigate through) and ties to its 'Survival of the Slowest' exhibit opening Tuesday.
