- ➤ The City of Midland reopened low-water crossings along Scharbauer Draw from Edwards to Barber after de-icing on Jan. 27 — drivers are urged to exercise caution when traveling through the area. CBS7
- ➤ Midland and Odessa have adjusted trash pickup schedules as services resume after a winter storm — in Midland, Monday pickups are moved to Tuesday and Tuesday pickups to Wednesday while other days remain unchanged. CBS7
- ➤ Yesterday, Midland City Council approved a $50,000 donation from Warren CAT for the Beal Park Renovation Project that will add 63 soccer fields, parking spaces, and community amenities; phase one is set to complete early 2026. City of Midland
