  • State and federal officials met in Odessa on Jan. 30 to address a surge in oil theft in the Permian Basin, noting losses reached tens of millions while promising tougher penalties and improved coordination against larger networks.  CBS7

  • A City report shows Midland International Air and Space Port handled 188,191 passengers from October through December 2025—a 4.44% decline from FY 2024-25 but higher than the 184,925 recorded in the first quarter.
