EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Nineteen student-athletes from Midland High, Legacy High, and Young Women's Leadership Academy signed letters of intent to play college sports yesterday, representing seven sports (football, swimming, soccer among others). - ➤ UTPB head coach Christ Softley signed 45 recruits in his first 24 days (33 are local players) to boost his Division 2 football team at the UTPB campus in Odessa. The new class includes 25 high school players and 20 transfers and is expected to add fresh talent for the upcoming season. NewsWest9
