ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ The City of Midland released its 2025 Traffic Crash Report showing fatal crashes fell from 18 to 11 and total fatalities dropped from 19 to 11 as traffic increased by 3%; officials will continue monitoring high-collision intersections (especially along Loop 250) for further improvements. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Midland is installing traffic signals at the intersection (Fairgrounds Road and Scharbauer Drive) to enhance safety for a growing community; the city will update residents on when the signals will be operational. CBS7
- ➤ Residents will see notices on water bills that the treatment plant did not meet turbidity standards in January and February due to a pump failure and freezing conditions.
