- ➤ The Go For Launch program returned to Midland Tuesday, March 17 with hands-on spaceflight activities led by real astronaut Wendy Lawrence. The two-day event, organized by non-profit Higher Orbits, allowed students to design a Martian habitat and experiment for the International Space Station. CBS7
- ➤ Texas Mutual Insurance Company presented Midland College with a $100,000 grant check to support free safety courses at the Risk Management Institute for the 22nd consecutive year. The courses cover topics such as CPR and forklift training and are open to employers, workers + the public. CBS7
