Airport officials reported yesterday that 55,301 passengers left Midland International Air & Space Port—more than 10% above the 10-year average.
Boardings dropped from April 2025’s records, and fiscal year-to-date net parking revenue is nearly on pace with last year.

According to the Census Bureau, Midland’s population is now estimated at 147,615 + a 2.7% increase over last year, the highest among major West Texas cities.
This growth follows steady rises from 2000 to 2025.
