Midland International has seen shorter TSA wait times after officials added a third security line—travelers now spend less time waiting for screening as airport staff aim to ease passenger flow.

Permian Basin AHEC based at Midland College was named the 2025 Center of Excellence by the National AHEC Organization — one of only four centers nationwide recognized from over 300 for its efforts to improve rural healthcare and inspire students at its Rural Healthcare Summer Camp.
