Odessa police arrested a man for murder after finding a gunshot victim near Terlingua on July 5th — he was taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center as the investigation continues.

Midland police arrested 72-year-old Maria Mercedes Lago-Benet on a murder charge after she allegedly stabbed her 63-year-old husband, Humberto Aldana Fonseca, in his chest at the Renew North Park apartments on Thursday + she is held on a $750,000 bond.
