Curb Side Bistro’s West Texas chef is hosting Burger Relief—a one-day fundraiser offering smash burgers in exchange for donations to help Texas flood victims.

Students at Midland High rallied to collect essential items like diapers, food, and hygiene products for Kerrville flood victims—helping families across Texas cope with the crisis.

Multiple drop-off sites in Midland are accepting needed supplies to help those affected by Texas Hill Country floods.

Residents can donate items such as baby wipes, formula, water, and shelf-stable food at centers including the West Texas Food Bank at 1601 Westcliff Dr, Senior Life Midland at 3301 Sinclair, Midland College, Midland ISD gyms, and Curb Side Bistro on Saturday.

The West Texas Food Bank partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to supply food, hygiene items + cleaning gear to help Kerrville flood victims after severe flooding this weekend.

Local locations in Midland, including Midland High School and Legacy High School, began collecting donations to support the relief effort.

Senior Life Midland is collecting adult diapers, hygiene items — and protein drinks — for Texas seniors impacted by catastrophic flooding in San Angelo and the Hill Country, and the supplies will be distributed to help flood victims recover.

Recent heavy rains flooded streets and left homes waterlogged in Midland and Odessa, causing problems with the old storm drainage systems.

City officials said updated drainage projects will begin soon—long delayed—while emergency crews provided aid to affected areas.

Today, Odessa Fire Rescue is sending Division Captain Marc Brown and Captain Austin Shaffer to Kerrville on a TIFMAS engine to support flood rescue operations in Central Texas—joining firefighter/paramedics Ben Denney and Ivan Guevara who were already dispatched for search efforts.
