- ➤ A chemical spill on the service road shut down Loop 250 in both directions between Todd Road and County Road 1150 — hazardous materials crews are working to neutralize the spill while officials said no one was hurt. CBS7
- ➤ Around noon today, an 18-wheeler carrying chemical totes lost part of its load along Loop 250 service road in north Midland — Midland Fire Chief Michael Tully said the spill involved organic peroxide and prompted safety measures. NewsWest9

- ➤ Authorities released new video footage showing two male suspects breaking into a Midland home on Black Wolf Trail on July 8 at 8:44 a.m.—they stole 17 firearms and fled in a stolen Ford Explorer that was later found abandoned. CBS7
