ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 33-year-old man named Raven Wesley Shaw was killed Thursday night when his Harley Davidson collided with a BMW at the intersection of East Business 20 — County Road 1160 after the driver failed to yield, and DPS said the investigation is ongoing. CBS7
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Midland police arrested 18-year-old Aiden Navarrete for his alleged role in a May 20 gang fight in Midland—he now faces a $150,000 bond for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon as investigators work on unmasking all involved. NewsWest9
- ➤ A Midland man was arrested on Aug. 14 when SWAT and narcotics teams searched a home on E. Pecan Ave that led to the discovery of methamphetamine, cocaine, THC, marijuana, and several firearms—42-year-old Manuel Trevino Padilla now faces charges for drug manufacture/delivery and a federal detainer for unlawful firearm possession by a felon.
