- ➤ The 15th Annual Midland County Fair started on August 21 and runs through Sunday with more rides, music, and food than ever before. Executive Director Bo Zertuche said the fair gives back to the community by offering a special $5 per night rate plus new attractions such as a Bubble Bay water feature and tribute concerts for the Eagles, George Strait, and Selena + rodeo events and a charreada.
