- ➤ The City of Midland hosted a community meeting at City Hall — residents got their first look at the new design plans for Phase II of Beal Park renovations that will guide upcoming park improvements. NewsWest9
- ➤ A community meeting was held Tuesday at City Hall—where Dunaway Civil Engineering presented the redesign plans for Beal Park. The meeting showed concept drawings for phase two, which will add an amphitheater, spray park, and playground while phase one is expected to be finished by the end of this year. CBS7

- ➤ Crews will close a lane on I-20 eastbound in Midland from Oct. 1 to Oct. 22 daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Drivers should expect delays between mile markers 134 and 136 and plan alternate routes. CBS7
