Midland's unemployment rate dropped to 3.2% in September, keeping the city at the lowest rate among Texas metros as the Texas Workforce Commission reported that the civilian labor force increased to 108,200 from 106,700 last month.
🏛️ Government
Midland officials have partnered with Permian Resources to install a liner and other improvements at the duck pond in Wadley Barron Park to keep it full year-round.
The project aims to fix water loss from seepage and evaporation and has not started yet.
