- ➤ Warren CAT opened a new engine rebuilding center in Midland last week to speed engine overhauls for oil and gas and electric power generation companies — the facility has 156,000 square feet of rebuild space with 26 rebuild bays, 10 teardown bays, engine and transmission dynos and a robot powered parts system. - ➤ Socialite Journey, a gospel-themed lounge with poetry nights and comedy, is looking for a new home after its old venue closed due to high rental costs—limited space and rising prices have made it hard for the small business to stay open. Founder Audrey White said she hopes that community support will help the lounge find a more affordable location soon. NewsWest9

- ➤ Midland College opened its new Esports Arena today and it is the largest collegiate gaming facility in the Permian Basin—featuring high-end PCs, Nintendo Switch consoles, and retro arcade machines.
